- QUILT TOP
- Quilt top should be square and should be able to lie flat on a hard surface.
- Clip threads on the top of your quilt. Threads can get caught and cause issues when quilting. Press (lift up iron) the quilt top instead of ironing as it may s-t-r-e-t-c-h your quilt.
- QUILT BACK
- Quilt back should be square and should be able to lie flat on a hard surface.
- If pieced, use pieces with the cut along the grain to avoid stretching.
- The back should be 4" bigger than width and length of the quilt top (2" on all sides).
